PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Wow 165 years! It is amazing that our first President Gregor McGregor and the committee saw potential in having a Fall Fair in Desboro. I believe they would be very proud how generations later we are “Still Kicking”. My Mom would often say to me that my great grandfather, Philip Corlett (President 1914-1917 & 1918-1920) would be happy that someone in the family was still involved. There are so many of our group that has family history with the Fair. Thanks for still helping out.
On behalf of Desboro Agricultural Society welcome to our Fair. We are so grateful for all the volunteers who work so hard since last Fair to now. We could not do it without our volunteers and the community support.
Please look through the book to see where you can participate and see what is happening. As usual there is plenty to do from watching the parade, calf show, and tractor pull to looking at all the entries. Visit the carnival tent with the kids and check out our Balloon Artist, he is amazing. Don't forget to get something to eat and enjoy a piece of pie! We will be having the Silent Auction and the famous Potato Auction. The Variety Show to be held on August 25th at the Music Hall will be entertaining as usual so please join us that night for past memories, new ones, and of course laughs.
Come on out to help us Celebrate 165 Years! We are Still Kicking now and in the future.
